‘You Are So Not Invited To My Bah Mitzvah’ Trailer: It’s Hebrew School Drama With Adam Sandler On Netflix On August 25

It’s hit or miss when it comes to Adam Sandler‘s Netflix projects. On the one hand, there’s the highs of “Uncut Gems” (more a Safdie Bros./A24 joint than a Netflix one, but the streamer did help with distribution). Then there’s the lows of “The Ridiculous 6” and and the “Murder Mystery” movies. Somewhere in between all of that? Stuff like “Hustle,” one of Sandler’s better recent dramatic outings.

So where will “You Are So Not Invited To My Bah Mitzvah” fall on the Sandler-Netflix spectrum? That’s a tough call since in the case of this upcoming comedy it’s a family affair, with Sandler taking a backseat so his daughter may have the limelight. The family comedy sees Sunny Sandler play Stacy Friedman, who’s prepping a joint bah mitzvah with her best friend. But high school being high school, things go sideway socially, and it takes her entire family to help get the co-ceremony off without a hitch.

Here’s an official synopsis for “You Are So Not Invited To My Bah Mitzvah,” courtesy of Netflix:
