Sexual Harassment Study

A new report from the University of York says the U.K. film and screen industry is failing to tackle sexual harassment.

Titled “Safe to Speak Up?” the report is based on interviews with 18 people in the U.K. industry who, between them, described 22 incidents of sexual harassment and violence at work as well as what happened when they spoke out about their experiences. The interviewees work in a range of roles across the industry.

The report was supported by the Screen Industries Growth Network (SIGN), a project funded by Research England, the University of York, and its partners. It is available to read here.
