Watch Timothée Chalamet & Havana Rose Liu In Martin Scorsese’s Chanel Ad

2 mins read

Several months ago, we got our first peek at the Chanel campaign ad that would feature Timothée Chalamet. Obviously, he’s a big star and that’s a huge “get” for Chanel. But the real selling feature for the ad, specifically, is that it was directed by Martin Scorsese. Now, months later, it looks like we’re getting the extended ad, which is one of the most stylized pieces of filmmaking Scorsese has done in quite some time.

The one-minute ad showcases Timothée Chalamet as a star appearing on a popular late-night show. He’s doing his charming thing, but then everything gets interrupted by a mysterious woman, played by Havana Rose Liu, who catches his eye. It’s a really interesting ad that allows for Scorsese to really flex his creative muscles. Let’s just say, it’s a wildly different vibe than “Killers of the Flower Moon” or any of the recent Scorsese films.

Obviously, this isn’t the first time that a large fragrance brand has attracted A-list talent. Every year, we see more and more folks sign up to sell perfume. However, it’s not often you get an A-list star like Chalamet teaming up with one of the most iconic filmmakers of all time. Hopefully, this leads to some more collaborations between the two in the future. Chalamet working alongside Leonardo DiCaprio again (after they appeared in “Don’t Look Up”) would be a welcome treat.
