Here we go! We are so very excited to be expanding Here we go! We are so very excited to be expanding our theater events with our very first One Act Festival! We want to thank all of you who have been so involved with our events and coming out to support your fellow actors.

Our first play for A Night Of One Acts is "Boat Play" by Beatrice Owens @busylittlebea

Boat Play [working title] is a play about men and consequences. The writing of this one-act play came about as an experiment in empathy and curiosity. What would it look like to let the men in my head and in my plays confront their vulnerability head on? What happens when there is, quite literally, nowhere to go to avoid the inevitable? How is vulnerability tied to magic? What role does alcohol play in our escapism? These are the questions that drove me towards this play. Well, that, and an undeniable need to write about water. Water as a parallel to the hidden depths and frightful mystery of our own hearts.
